We at Birdhaven Blueberry Farm welcome you to our 2010 Summer season.

Good News Bad News.   Good News is we are going to PYO Blueberries all this month and even into September.  Bad News is I lost some of this crop to a frost in the Springtime so the time has come to OPEN the field for weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday picking only.  This new schedule will assure a good ripening time between weekend pickings.  Meanwhile the farm store will still be open at the regular time for vegetables, pies, jams and homemade vanilla and blueberry fudgesicals AND PESTO.  There will also be some fresh berries for stand sale.

Our PYO flower garden is making a fine display. Ask about our ressurection lilies. As you are picking flowers in our garden you will also notice new plantings of Basil, Chanterais melons, lettuce and more that our new Gardener/Farmer Sue is cultivating.   We will be selling her organically grown salad mixes and other vegetables in our farm store.   Also, join us for the...

Fresh Sweet  Berries    PYO at 2.75/lb. Berries already picked at 3.75/lb. These berries are not sprayed with insecticides.

PESTO

Black Gold to some LEAF and Grass Clipping Compost to others. Sorry I do not deliver. At this time I do not even load your truck.  Bring your own truck your friends your shovels and I will give you a price of 25.00/truck.

Leaf and Grass Clipping Recycle  I will  REOPEN the farm for leaf and grass clippings collection in September.  Drop off Days..Tuesday thru Saturday 7AM to 5 PM.  $5.00/car load and $10.00 and up for trucks and trailers.  In the fall I will also offer a leaf and grass clipping pick up at your yard.

Home Made Pies  As promised I started baking my butter crust pies in May and now is the time to order those pies for the holidays while I have all this good help.
